–One of the guys was ready to go at 8:00 while the other two were at a dentist appointment. Jen came to help Don until the rest of the guys could get here.
–Don and Jen learned that Dawn and I are not afraid of work. They also learned that I have muscles to match my Jolly Green Giant size. One base cabinet is no problem to carry.
–Found some mold above a cabinet. The guys later discovered we have a roof leak near a chimney. Thank goodness it was discovered before major issues ensued.
–No one killed a ground hog.
–Dawn kicked a hole in the wall between the living room and kitchen.
–Two walls came down.
–Electrical was sound.
–They found an old porcelain baking pan that was used to block off the old hood vent. It now belongs to me.
–Thor now has doggie prozac.
–After doing some landscaping, I learned that guys in Menards give me a lot more respect when I am covered in mud, rock dust, and drywall dust.
–Today was good.
