–Eventful weekend at Easter with the Cribelars. Burned some decorative grasses and my nephew drew up magnificent bridge plans that involve a rope swing. I also learned that no amount of ear protection will block out a TV with the volume on 90. Those head phones I am wearing are over ear plugs. Deanna now has her remote headphones hooked up to the TV in the basement.
–The picture may not look like much, but most of the kitchen electrical was sorted out today.
–There will be enough can and pendant lights (11 we think) to draw bugs right through the window on a summer night!
–The guys seemed to like the crock pot “I am sorry I put a hole in the wrong place” lunch by the few remains we had left this evening.
–Conversations with what was apparently a sleeping Dawn last night since she has no recollection of it:
Dawn (who is also mostly deaf in one ear): “Do you hear a wrapper?”
Me, “Yep?”
Dawn, “Is it mom or do the dogs have it? Will you go check.
I go check. It is Deanna, eating in bed. I report back to Dawn.
“Mom knows better. Go tell her.”
Me, “No, she is your mother. You go tell her not to eat in bed.”
Needless to say, Deanna finished the snack in bed.
